The New Hampshire flag is one of 31 flags that contain a state seal or coat of arms on their flag and one of the 27 flags with a blue background. In fact New Hampshire’s Flag has the exact same shade of blue as the state flags of Oregon and Pennsylvania.

In a 2001 survey by the North American Vexillological Association of the State/Provincial Flags of the U.S. and Canada, NH ranked 63rd, or in other words the 10th worst flag in the survey. I argue that if our flag is changed it may be a better and more effective flag to represent NH.

This leads me to conclude that New Hampshire would fare well with a flag redesign.
