I hereby petition the President of The United States of America, Donald J. Trump, to officially change the name of the country to "Billionaireistan."

As we watch the country change dramatically towards a Vladimir Putin inspired, Russian style oligarchy and kleptocracy, the name "United States of America," imbued with its history as the world's first experiment with democracy and rejection of autocracy, feels quaint, outdated, and naive.

The name "Billionaireistan" much more accurately describes the country, who is ruling it, and who it serves.
