Mr. Holloway has dedicated over 22 years of his life and thousands of dollars to the City of Albany and has served over 1500 youth through Pop Warner Football in Lincoln Park.  He has sent over 100 kids to play College Football through his program.  He has produced judges, lawyers, Doctors, Teachers, Principals, Head Coaches, Police Officers, City Workers, State Workers as well as Military personnel.  He has given thousands of hours of his personal time.  He has won 4 Pop Warner Championships.  Raised at least, 5 foster children as well as mentored hundreds of others.  

It would mean a lot to the community to have Lincoln Park renamed W Holloway Field.  The very field he coached on for over 22 years.  

An honor like this would be such an example for young men, not just in the inner city, but throughout the city how dedication, hard work, love and persistence pays off no matter where you are from.  Mr.  Holloway is more than deserving of this small token of appreciation.
