In our current BVSD schools, the lunch does not meet the restrictions for all students. A lot of students don't eat enough protein due to no Halal/Kosher options being served at our schools.

If no one addresses this, many students will continue to lack the necessary nutrition and protein needed for their good growth. If it changes, many students will get lunch that fits their needs and religious restrictions. 

The time to act is now to promote a more inclusive environment in our schools. If your child/children would get benefits from Halal/Kosher food service, please sign this petition.
