Attempting to downplay the favorable Economist report for the Government, amidst the condemning resolution of the European Parliament, the Prime Minister tried to lighten the negative atmosphere from the recent events in Parliament, throwing ashes in the eyes of people who rely on major national channels for information.

However, he didn't mention simultaneously, just as neither did the domestic "independent" media, the New York Times' remark on "blatant corruption at the heart of Greece," nor Le Monde describing the European Parliament's resolution as a "real symbolic slap for the conservative government of Konstantinos Mitsotakis."
The final reckoning (for Pylos, Tempi, Novartis with the intimidation of prosecutor Touloupaki, ADAE with illegal connections and maneuvers against prosecutor Rammos, police violence, manipulation of the people through the media with the Petsa's lists, the still unsolved of Karaivaz's murder) will eventually emerge and come from "outside," as one would expect in a democracy that has fallen from the cradle of civilization and freedoms to a den of surveillance and corruption.
