The DVLA make millions every year selling personalised number plates that many need the space moving or removing to resemble something… 

To give you an extreme example.

MR51 NGH sold for over £100,000 but what does it mean?? Move the space and it says MR 51NGH.

Many plates under £1000 can have the space removed/moved but this is illegal and can get you a fine because they say the ANPR cameras don’t pick up the plate, well car parks pick them up with no issues so I don’t see how ANPR dont.

What I would like to see is the law changed to allow the use of standard font BUT the space to be allowed to be moved or removed all together.
