Change the extremely difficult packaging of hearing aid batteries to easier access

Change the extremely difficult packaging of hearing aid batteries to easier access
The Issue
There is a recent federal law requiring zinc-air button and coin cell batteries in the US to be child-resistant. It's called Reese's Law.
That's all well and good UNTIL an adult or child has to open these packages. If you don't wear hearing aids, you won't understand the problem. It requires AT THE LEAST scissors and very strong hands, then something strong that won't bend to pry apart the plastic that is being held together by tight buttons between each battery.
Not only are they extremely difficult to open for adults, but you cannot travel with scissors or other tools that might help to open these packages. Now we are limiting travel to every person old or young because of not being able to access these batteries.
We urge you to find another way to make them child safe but adult accessible without requiring illegal items during travel or finding someone to open them for you.
