Here at Danforth Collegiate and Technical Institute, the sound that alerts students to the start of the period has been changed. Previously, the bell tone was a single, low note. The new noise is a high, repeating chime that sounds like an emergency alert. This has to change, now. This new sound is quite annoying and fails to accomplish its only job. This is because a higher-pitched noise is hard to hear in a classroom full of chatter, and not everyone can hear it. This may be some weird experiment/trial period, but it is abundantly clear that those responsible for implementing this infernal noise are either deaf or never listened to the sound they were using. In any case, this noise is stupid, and I hope that you agree it should be changed.
