Hello everyone,

I am so appreciative of everyone's support and continued efforts to push for competitive Internet options in San Francisco. As of writing this, I'm very happy to say that we are only 75 signatures away from our 1k goal.

Thank you so much for your shares, your ideas to add to discussions with Sonic's director of government affairs, Bill Greenlaw, and your generous donations to help promote this initiative.

Another exciting update is that Bill is currently discussing next steps with our initiative with the director of government affairs at SFMTA.

We have come so far since I started this petition this summer - we went from just a few signatures to hundreds over the span of a few days, and now we're approaching the thousands. I know there's more than a thousand people in SF who wants competitive ISP options.

So to help us reach this goal to provide a clear desire for change that the mayor can't ignore, if you could please continue to share this to your friends, family and colleagues, donate if you are able, and place flyers around your neighborhood that includes the petition name, website hyperlink, as well as a QR code, we will reach even more people.

The sooner we reach 1,000 signatures, the sooner we can bring this conversation to the mayor!
