I’m writing to share a fantastic and urgent update on our campaign to bring Sonic fiber to all of San Francisco.
First, thank you! Your signature, your shares, and your donations to promote the petition have been incredibly powerful. Because of our collective voice, this campaign has taken a massive step forward.
Your support has opened two major doors:
- A Meeting with the City: I have a formal meeting scheduled for tomorrow, Wednesday, July 9th, with Michael Farrah, the legislative aide for our D7 Supervisor, Myrna Melgar, to discuss solutions to the roadblocks holding up fiber expansion.
- A Call with Sonic's CEO: As a direct result of our efforts, I have a call scheduled for TODAY with Sonic's new CEO, Nathan Patrick, to align on strategy before the meeting with the city.
This is happening because of you. We have moved from petitioning to direct, high-level talks where we can push for real change.
