Dear Supporters,
First off, THANK YOU for being a core part of this movement! Your signature helped us secure a critical meeting with Supervisor Myrna Melgar's office a few weeks ago, along with a productive call with Sonic's CEO, Nathan Patrick, which resulted in a clear plan to address the roadblocks preventing Sonic's expansion.
As a follow-up, I have reached out to the Supervisor's aide, Michael Farrah, to check on the progress of the meetings he committed to scheduling with the MTA and SF Public Works.
While we haven't heard back yet, this is a normal part of the process when dealing with busy city departments. Now is the perfect time for us to act again. Our job as an organized community is to be persistent, professional, and to show that we are eagerly awaiting the next steps. This is how we ensure our issue stays a top priority.
Your New Action: The Polite Nudge
Our first wave of thank-you emails was a huge success. Now it's time for a polite but powerful follow-up.
Please send a brief email to Michael Farrah (michael.farrah@sfgov.org) and Supervisor Melgar's staff (melgarstaff@sfgov.org).

Subject: Eagerly Awaiting Next Steps on D7 Fiber
Dear Michael and the Office of Supervisor Melgar,
As a District 7 resident and supporter of the Sonic fiber petition, I'm writing to follow up on the very positive meeting our community advocate had with your office a few weeks ago.
We are all very excited about the planned meetings with the MTA and Public Works and are looking forward to hearing about the progress. Please continue to make solving these fiber roadblocks a priority for our district.
Thank you for your continued work on this.
Sincerely,
