I am requesting your help in changing Georgia's Slow Down Move Over Law, in memory of Mr. Frank Ingram, a tow truck driver/owner who was tragically killed in a Georgia Interstate on October 19, 2023. The Ingram Family has lost a loved one, and Ingram Towing and Impound Service Inc has lost their leader and friend.

As of now, the penalty for violating the Slow Down Move Over Law (OCGA 40-6-16) is a mere $500.00 fine, no matrer how many violations. This is UNACCEPTABLE!!And Law Enforcement hardly, if ever enforces this statue. I truly feel the penalties need to be harsher with each offense, and that Law Enforcement needs to be more aggressive in enforcing this statute.

Please help me by signing this petition, so that my fellow tow truck driver, Mr. Frank Ingram didn't die in vain.
