Concord, Massachusetts, is a beautiful historic town with much to offer and a wonderful community. Living in Concord, I always wondered why we had such a boring mascot: the Patriots. Sure, we're the home of the Revolution, but everyone in Massachusetts chooses to be the Patriots. One thing that is uniquely Concordian? The grape. Our Concord grape is the distinct quintessential grape flavor; when you taste anything grape-flavored, it's the Concord grape. Why should we settle with a patriot? When we have our grapes! Let's be the Concord grapes! If enough CCHS students show interest, I'm sure that we will be able to change our mascot to the Concord Grape officially. I even came up with a unique name for our grape mascot, Ephraim.
