Maria Ruiz started a petition to remove Pewdiepie from Youtube. She has claimed that Pewdiepie has done things that he hasn't done (Fact Check below). Maria Ruiz is slandering PewDiePie's name by saying that he affiliates himself with white supremacist and Nazi ideologies, which has been debunked many times. She even included the mosque shooting as proof that Pewdiepie is racist. Pewdiepie has not spread any propaganda or material that would lead someone to kill people. Just because someone mentions someone else's name in the massacre, it doesn't mean that that person is the reason why that happened. Think about this, if someone says "follow Maria Ruiz" shortly before someone starts a massacre, would Maria Ruiz be guilty? No, because she would have no control over it. What's worse of all this is that, Maria Ruiz didn't even research or watch the videos before she posted her petition.

Here are her allegations fact checked:

Point 1 : "used the N slur twice in two separate videos and has hired people to say the N slur"

FALSE: He has only said the N slur once and has apologized for it. There is no proof or documentation of him hiring people to say the N slur.

Point 2 : "he has promoted videos that contain Adolf Hitler speeches and anti-Semitic cartoons "

FALSE: Pewdiepie has not shown anti-Semitic cartoons in his videos. I was not able to find any videos with Hitler's speeches on his channel. She did not provide links to the videos or proof. If there were Hitler's speeches, they were probably muted or he was saying something so ridiculous or simple it wouldn't have mattered.

*Point 3* : He paid men on website Fiverr to hold up signs that say death to all jews

TRUE : Pewds was trying to see if the FunnyGuys (the Indian Men) would actually do it. He chose that phrase to make an edgy meme, not to be a white supremacist. He has apologized for this time and time again.

Point 4 : he performed the Nazi heil in one of his videos

FALSE (sort of): He didn't heil to Hitler, but it is possible that some people could've interpereted it for that. He was reading hate comments and mocking the people calling him a Nazi, by
giving them exactly what they wanted.

Point 5 : he used images of famous African-Americans (Neil deGrasse Tyson, Barack Obama) captioned with the wrong names

???: I couldn't find this video or what she was referencing to. A link or video would be helpful. She included that they were African as an attempt to pull the race card.

Point 6 : he made a clip of a man dressed as Jesus holding a sign stating "hitler did absolutely nothing wrong"

FALSE: Jesus DID NOT hold up a SIGN stating that Hitler did nothing wrong. Pewdipie wasn't even the person who told Jesus to do this. Pewdiepie also has no connection to the person who paid Jesus to say this. She also said that Jesus held up a sign. This means that she did not watch the video she was criticizing Pewdiepie for. This just makes her points less valid.

Point 7 : he makes rape jokes

False??: I haven't been able to find any videos or proof of him doing this. She does not link to any videos showing this. If he did, Ruiz said it herself (in her allegations), they are just JOKES.

Point 8 : in his face-swapping video he repeatedly uses an image of actress Leslie Jones to represent Harambe.

TRUE : IT'S A FACE-SWAPPING VIDEO, that's the point of the video. In that exact video, he said, "Leslie Jones is not Harambe" and condemned the act by calling it racist.

This is what should be done:
Maria Ruiz's Change and Twitter accounts should get deleted or at least restricted from posting lies, slandering Pewdiepie's name. Her change petition should also get removed from .

I started this petition because...
As a Pewdiepie supporter and a minority myself, I truly believe that PewDiePie has done nothing wrong. People like Maria Ruiz are slandering him, ruining his image.
