Problem
For years, the Pavel Bure Award has been one of the most prestigious things a Canucks player could win, showing honor, excitement, and leadership. Recently one of the winners, from the 2011-2012 season, has broken that and lost the respect by many around the hockey world and in Vancouver after a series of tweets online. Including the mention of the September 11 attacks. This has made the award tainted and left a bad taste in everyone's mouth. It belittles the accomplishments made from the previous winners and legends that have wore a Canucks jersey and bled blue for years.
Solution
With your help we can fix this! If enough people sign this, we can get the attention of the Canucks organization/owners to listen to us and hopefully solve this! The award is voted by the fans so it's only right for them to vote on something like this as well!
