As a surviving scoliosis person who has never had surgery this petition is to get people who have been diagnosed to avoid surgery and use a back brace to reduce the spinal degrees.  

I was diagnosed in France at the age of 10 and had many x rays which showed my degrees which was 39.  I was told they operate on 40 degrees and upwards and if I wore a back brace and did physiotherapy i was told my degrees would go down to about 38/37.

I wore a back brace and did physio for 3 years and then moved back to the UK and had X-rays which still showed my degrees to be 37 and has then since stayed at that number.  

Please please sign this petition and don’t let the scoliosis get worse and get treated as soon as you can.
