Signatures, including mine, are being lost on issues important to us all due to requiring phone numbers through which people are contacted with unwarranted calls or texts during inopportune times.

We see many important petitions to sign, but there are those require listing a phone number to contact us through it.  As a result, we do not sign and less voices are added to others on important issues.  

Many people organize our time so there are time slots available each day for petitions and speaking out on issues important to us.  We don't want the times allocated for work or projects interrupted by random phone calls on someone else's schedule.  We would much more prefer to simply be able to speak out on important issues without providing a phone number for such calls and interruptions.  It would be much less intrusive and productive if we could do that within the time frames of the day where time is set aside specifically for that or when we find ourselves with unexpected time free for such endeavors.  

Please, stop requiring phone numbers for petitions and using those phone numbers to contact people with unwelcome phone call and text interruptions into our busy schedules so we can achieve greater success on important issues through increased signatures.
