Right so let me get one thing clear, I am not associated with the people who are being investigated and suspended in the Canadian Military over this matter, I don't know them in any way. This is merely because I think the whole affair is stupid.

Back in November a couple of reservists from the Canadian Military and a full time soldier were suspended and investigated over their online business 'Fireforce Ventures', seems innocent enough however the Military started snooping around due to the fact they specialize in Rhodesian equipment and uniforms which they call a "White supremacist country" and "Segregated blacks" as well as the fact the company was founded because the poor blokes just wanted some Brushstrokes. 

"In recent years, Rhodesia has become a symbol of the white-supremacist movement in the United States. Dylann Roof, who killed nine black people in a racially motivated attack on a church in Charleston, S.C., in 2015, had been photographed with a Rhodesian flag on his jacket." -Multiple media sources. This idiot is not a Rhodesian.

Personally I think its stupid, and the point of this petition is to force the Canadian Military to understand that just because someone sells Rhodesian uniforms doesn't make them a racist bigot of any kind, personally I love Rhodesia and if it were around today I'd visit it a lot or even more there and many others would too, they didnt segregate people, majority of their population, armed forces and industry was manned and made up of black people as well as whites- I mean, come on! Its in Africa! They used 'fireforce' in order to suppress and get rid of communist funded and trained ZANU terror forces which is who took over Rhodesia under the lead of Robert Mugabe who himself proved their brutal nature following suite of their god Stalin. 

I will admit one thing, one member was caught on a podcast with some people who had racist views but then again does that instantly make him a criminal? Obviously its more sensitive as they were serving but regardless of that, it doesn't make them racist. Theres even a disclaimer on the website that says. "Fireforce does not attempt to make any political or racial statements with its products and it reserves the right to refuse sales to customers who are members of an identifiable hate group."  

Hopefully if the petition gets enough signatures then the Canadian Military will let the men back into service as this was all over nothing, criminals can associate them with anything they want to, someone could shoot another 9 black people and have a Barney the dinosaur badge on, does that make Barney a symbol of white supremacy? No. And if it did then god damn there is something very wrong with this world.

Im sure a lot of people share my views on this whole situation and I very much hope that Fireforce Ventures continue to do business because Rhodesian uniforms are very hard to come by and I wouldn't mind having a look too. Rhodesia is gone now but probably won't be forgotten for a long time whether its for the wrong reasons or right but theres nothing wrong with continuing its legacy no matter what the media says, people re-enact the World Wars, people purchase Waffen SS uniforms so why can't common folk just be left to their own devices and purchase Rhodesian uniforms? 

The men involved in this case were reservists Henry Lung, Ryan Jorgenson and W. Taylor, as well as Kyle Porter, who is a full-time member of the military. All these men are stationed in Alberta and ran the business in their civilian hours.

Get the Canadians to notice and stop this mishandling and pray that it doesnt evolve from a string of investigations and suspensions into charges and discharges. Rhodesia gets enough bad press as it is but now Canada is putting it's own people under the hammer for running a perfectly legal business, their own politicians are probably more guilty than these folks.
