Well ..... the way to get the attention of the people with the influence to change the name is to present them with a longer and longer list of people who are pushing them to do so. 

Wouldn't it be nice if we could 10,000 voices behind this message ? It becomes harder and harder to ignore as the list gets bigger. 

Adding a few dollars contribution to the petition site increases the exposure of the petition. The more who see it, the more will join. 

Atmospheric carbon poisoning is creative a version of our planet which humanity is unacquainted with. Humans have 300,000 years experience on a more recent version of Earth. We have rolled CO2 levels back over 10,000,000 years. A time before our ancestors even began walking upright. 

The way we are overwhelming the ability of nature to sustain seems like the biggest mistake in human history. Let's put a stop to that together. Let's join hands and tell our children that their future is our highest priority.
