The image above (or wherever) was supposed to be the midterm schedule for January 24 and 25. Recently, the Howard County Public School System revealed their new schedule for midterms from Wednesday, January 24 to Thursday, January 25, where those midterms won't be taken until the afternoon. Students will not be able to remember what they studied from the previous night and/or that morning [of the midterm] and they are more likely to fail those tests if there is a bigger time gap between the time finished studying at home and the time, they take the midterm.

If we were to put midterms in the morning like we did in the past, then students' minds will be refreshed, and they will remember what they studied earlier that day (and the day before) and will be less likely to fail those tests.

In order to put midterms in the morning, it would be better if the Period 4B and 6 exams take up most of the morning on January 24 (7:50 - 11: 35 AM) and have lunch and the other 4 periods and do the same thing for Periods 4A and 5 exams on January 25. Another option can be to make midterms worth 0% of your overall grade (just like last year '22-'23). Or January 24 and 25 will be half days (same schedule as January 18). Hopefully, there better be a change in the schedule from 01/24 to 01/25.
