On Tuesday 12th December 2017 a dog walker left a much loved 4 year old Keeshond, named Beau (pictured) locked in a car for 6 hours whilst they went on a cruise. The dog walker simply forgot. As the outside temperature increased beyond 27 degree celsius,  the car's internal temperature soared to over 40 degrees. Sadly, the beautiful Beau did not survive and would have died a slow and painful death, leaving those that knew and loved him heartbroken.

All too often dogs are being locked in cars during hot days or are often the victims of acts of cruelty and as a result their life comes to an unnecessary and premature end

Change in New South Wales Legislation  needs to happen today to ensure that acts of animal cruelty and neglect that cause the death of any animal should incur a mandatory jail sentence.

Let's take a stand today; let Beau live on forever  by demanding changes in the law so people who kill any animals  through acts of cruelty and abuse or neglect face mandatory jail time. 

We also need to have a pet abuse registry to ensure animal abusers are never allowed to own pets again!
