Change Leadership of $705,527 from DPNR to a Library Board of Trustees

According to, The Virgin Islands Consortium
"Enid M. Baa Public Library and Archives on St. Thomas Receives $705,527 From FEMA For Repairs and Restoration".

These funds are going to DPNR and the question is who decides what is being done? Is it the people? NO! It is one person or maybe two people or a committee of people who are not putting the priority of children and families of this territory first...they are being put last. Let the people speak for their public library and what they would like. Was a survey done? Are their librarians being consulted? That is why there needs to be accountability. There needs to be a V.I. Public Library Board of Trustees that hires the librarians and who consists of teachers and librarians who occupy seats on this board to oversee our libraries and get them open where they stay open and do not have high employee turnover because management does not have the training or experience, let alone degrees to manage a public library.

Thank you for your signature supporting a change in VI Public Libraries Leadership! IT is an election year!
