Change in the standards of conduct Fate City Council

Change in the standards of conduct Fate City Council
The Issue
To hold those in the care of the public trust to a higher standard as an official of the City of Fate, I would like for you to consider this change under:
Sec. 2-309. - Standards of conduct.
No officer of the city shall:
11. Assume or promote a legal position contrary to adjudicated or dismissed cases:
a. Refrain from making any statements or engaging in conduct that implies a determination of guilt or innocence where a case has been adjudicated, dismissed, or resolved through legal processes.
b. Avoid causing or encouraging others to engage in behavior that constitutes a violation of the law, whether a minor offense (e.g., truancy) or a major legal infraction.
12. Prohibit misuse of official status or city-affiliated materials:
a. Refrain from using any city-owned or copywritten images, official symbols, or representations of their office to endorse, suggest, or promote any legal standing in which they are not directly involved as a litigant (plaintiff or defendant).
b. Ensure that their personal stature or role as an elected official is not exploited to imply legal positions or outcomes inconsistent with due process or established legal findings.
This proposal should be immediately placed in the charter and any council member violating these rules in the past or currently shall be removed from office.
