Every year Australia Day rolls around and Australian's become more and more divided over Australia Day being celebrated on a day that could be considered culturally insensitive.

We propose moving Australia Day celebrations to a day that is undeniably Australian... Steve Irwin's birthday!

Steve was a tremendous ambassador for caring for the natural wildlife of our beautiful country and there was no-one more Australian or a better cultural icon for Australia than Steve Irwin.
