It has been about 2.5 years since I joined my Engineering college, Narula Institute of Technology which is situated at  81,  Nilgunj Road, Kolkata-700109, Agarpara, Kamarhati (WB). I am worried about the environment round the college which is extremely disturbing and pathetic. Especially, the road conditions. The road which joins the Barrackpore Trunk road to the college is alarming and it consists of a number of potholes, making it almost inaccessible and dangerous during rain. The road goes straight facing an ICSE school and our institution. Over these years we have seen it getting deadliest. Trucks and other heavy loaded vehicles when pass through these roads, dust and pollution is spread everywhere around. Even the muncipality trucks carrying garbage and drain wastages put them aside the roads making it a complete mess.

I and many like me face these problems quite everyday. Concentrating and living in the college for hours in such an obnoxius environment is difficult. If you help us, we can bring a change. Please help us converting this situation in better way.
