The Budget failed even to mention the winter fuel cuts, with no mitigating measures to prevent harm to thousands this winter. There was no commitment to protect our other universal benefits such as the bus pass, or to rule out means-testing the state pension. Social care continues to be ignored, with yet another small bail out all Labour has to offer. 

Older people will continue to be targeted by this Government unless we show united resolve and only Silver Voices has the energy and passion to do this!
