Mike Adams has had complaints of being racist, sexist, xenophobic, and homophobic for years now. It is clear from our current climate that there is no place for that rhetoric when you are responsible for educating the next generation. College campuses should not be a place where student's identities are rejected and threatened by an educator.

He is a professor teaching Sociology and Criminology. This is unacceptable behavior. There have been petitions in the past asking for action to be taken and they have gone ignored by the school.

UNC Wilmington claims to support diversity yet continues to employ someone who endangers these ideals. He does not exemplify inclusiveness, mutual respect, or acceptance. He does not accept the small portion of the UNCW community that is diverse.
