The University of North Carolina at Charlotte resumed in-person classes this Fall 2021 semester. With this taking place the pass/no credit option is not offered for the current Fall 2021 semester. The transition from being online to in-person hasn't been an easy process for a lot of the students here at UNCC. It is important to note that students face mental and emotional hardships such as depression, anxiety, social anxiety, panic attacks and many others. Because of these hardships, it can have a negative impact on students academics and motivation to succeed in their classes. The transition is very overwhelming for some and may take some time to ease back into, being that UNCC was out of in-person class for 1year+.  With that being said, we as UNCC students would like to petition for the Pass/ No Credit option to be available this Fall 2021 semester. It would be a great help to many students who are potentially facing academic struggles. We ask that you please hear us and consider us in this decision. Thank you.
