Due to the current COVID-19 schools worldwide are being closed and going online. We’re all aware that remote online has never been done before for nursing courses at chamberlain university & a lot of adjustments to the learning environment/experience had to be put in place. That is why we should agree that tuition cost should be reduced. Many of the universities & colleges are refunding or adjusting tuition rates because they understand that online remote classes do not offer the same learning environment/ experience as on-campus. However, a Representative of Chamberlain University College of Nursing stated, “I can understand the thought that perhaps tuition should be reduced given the circumstances. I am going to pass this idea on to the national leaders. I know that the additional simulation tools they had to purchase were very costly as well as the remote proctoring tool that will allow us to continue to use ATI... Fortunately Chamberlain has invested in the necessary tools that will allow us to move forward...I understand your perspective and I think it’s valid. Whether the powers that be can reduce tuition because of the additional expenses to maintain an online program remains to be seen.” 
Chamberlain students have voiced their concerns that this is still not enough to get the learning tools to further be successful in the program. We are grateful for the changes implemented but such changes don’t enhance our learning but rather just makes the learning process possible. Chamberlain students have united to be heard & pass this petition to national leaders. 

A chamberlain student voiced: “I'm currently out of job because of the COVID-19, Unpaid. On top of that, as I’m creating a budget, the price for next session is going to be too expensive for my budget, since we will no longer be on campus but going virtual. I also didn't have a printer or internet at home. I had no other option but to get internet and the necessary technology, that I would use on campus, because of the current situation with school. Once again, additional expenses to provide myself with the adequate resources. Also my home environment does allow me to attend class, study, or take exams properly. I’m not getting the adequate learning experience online for the same money I pay to attend on-campus.”
