A company called PooPrints claims to solve the problem of animal waste but instead targets innocent dogs with a pseudoscientific approach. This company collects waste without any third-party oversight or unbiased collection methods. Worse still, their unlocked bins allow anyone seeking to profit or target a specific dog to easily manipulate the results.

Also, it is well known that dogs often urinate and salivate on the feces of other dogs, causing cross contamination that can skew the results in a shared space. 

PooPrints' method is not only flawed but also dangerous as it paves the way for breed-specific legislation through DNA testing. This can lead to discrimination against certain breeds and unjust targeting of innocent animals.

According to the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), breed-specific laws are not effective in improving public safety and result in negative welfare consequences for dogs identified (often incorrectly) as belonging to specific breeds.
