Law makers in the state of PA need to create a law forcing residents to put all of their "outside" pets indoors in temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, and above 85 degrees Fahrenheit.
The Issue
Animals are living beings. It is CRUEL that people leave their "outside" pets in temperatures below 32 degrees Fahrenheit, and above 85 degrees Fahrenheit. Each year countless outside pets die due to lack of shelter and warmth in the winter months, and heat exhaustion in the summer months.
As pet owners, it is our responsibility to protect and care for our pets. This includes providing adequate conditions during the winter and summer months. The aforementioned temperatures are difficult for humans to live in, and we are able to escape the elements.
Other states have begun to enforce these laws as well. Missouri has recently passed a law stating "If it is too cold for humans, it is too cold for animals."
PLEASE SIGN THIS PETITION in an effort to help these animals.
