The purpose of this petition is to address the illegal short selling in Arena Pharmaceuticals and the stock market in general.  

Naked shortselling is detrimental to Arena's stock and the stock market as a whole.

It undermines the stability of our economic system and it is totally unfair to retail investors. It makes the Stock Market a casino that is rigged by the House. We need the SEC to enforce every form of naked short selling and restore the confidence and fairness of the Stock Market for every investor regardless of how money they invest into the Stock Market. The Stock Market should not be a playground only for the rich, wealthy and corrupt.
