We, the undersigned, support the establishment of a second phase of Historic District designation for Morningside Heights.  Historically significant areas of our neighborhood were not included in the initial designation, which occurred in 2017.

We urge the NYC Landmarks Preservation Commission to act now and place these areas of our neighborhood on their calendar.  This is especially urgent, given the rampant real estate overdevelopment that is occurring in Morningside Heights.
