To Whom It May Concern this petition is to formally oppose the change of zone and the development and Improvement of the Woodbury Tennis Club property as an assisted living complex. There exists too much traffic on Woodbury Road and especially at the intersection of Harbor Road (NYS Road)and Woodbury Road (County Road) especially in front of an adjoining the Cold Spring Harbor train station. This problem is just not a peak and off-peak traffic issue this is a constant around-the-clock day and night traffic congestion issue. This development will contribute to sanitary contamination and additional storm water runoff infiltration into our aquifers. There exist bodies of water, wetlands and private potable water wells downstream. This facility will generate new odor and sound pollution create traffic from demolition, construction. Employees, residents and related services such as outside care, nurse and ambulances, visitors, maintenance, garbage and delivery trucks and so on and so forth . This project will significantly decrease our surrounding property values. This proposal is not consistent with the character of the neighborhood and surrounding zoning and will be detrimental to the neighborhood and its residents.
