The privatisation of Aberystwyth Post Office is a threat to the vital role that the Post Office plays in the local community and will impact on local jobs, services and families. Profit driven agendas and plans for privatisation should not be the main concern when it comes to public services, especially when it is evident that Crown Post Offices are not running at a loss. We, the undersigned, support the unions fighting this decision and urge the Conservative Government to reconsider their agenda driven decision to privatise this essential public service.
