A delegation of people from Central West NSW 4 Palestine will hand deliver this petition to our MP Andrew Gee tomorrow - March 15 2024 at 11am. If you live in Bathurst please feel free to join us outside his office to protest his inaction. 

Over 30000 Gazans have been killed by the Israeli defence force since Oct 8th. Families have been made homeless. Hospitals destroyed. Men digging their families out of the rubble with their barehands. 72 per cent of these deaths are women and children! An estimated 100 Palestinians continue to die every day. Killed by the onslaught of Israeli bombing and armed violence.

Australia, as a close ally of the powerful USA who back israel, has stayed largely silent on these atrocities! Australia has not done enough to end this violence.  This killing has to stop! 

Israel has been taken to the highest court in the world - the international criminal court - for war crimes, but Australia has not supported this action, instead Australian officials have stayed silent. SHAME!

Now our own Prime Minster Anthony Albanese is also facing potential criminal charges with a submission in front of the ICJ for war crimes. SHAME!

Australia instead of ending military ties with Israel has paused vital humanitarian aid to UNRWA - further contributing to this human catastrophe. SHAME!

Elected officials such as Andrew Gee who have stayed silent on these issues are complicit to genocide. SHAME!

The Australia government and its elected officials are on the wrong side of history. This complicity cannot be ignored any longer! The people of Australia can’t be ignored any longer! We demand a ceasefire!
