Save Lot 22

The Issue

Central Michigan University is planning to build a brand new housing unit, which would remove the largest commuter lot (lot 22) and costing the school approximately $1.5 million. Along with removing about 900 parking spots from students, the university plans on demolishing the Northwest Apartments and Kewadin Village. CMU already has limited parking for everyone and supposedly low on money. Parking tickets have went up about $5, parking meters are now $0.50 per half hour, and commuter parking passes at $175. Please sign this petition if you want to keep Lot 22 as a commuter and faulty lot.
