Those of us living throughout Dutchess County and the other counties serviced by Central Hudson are at the mercy of this corporation and their seemingly, utterly random ability to charge grossly escalated pricing for gas and electric. 

Constituents throughout Dutchess and the neighboring counties are being financially decimated by these bills which are showing dramatic increases of up to 80% despite a lack of negligibleusage increases. As a result, Central Hudson customers are often put in positions where they must choose between feeding their families or keeping the lights and heat on.  Central Hudson MUST look at their accounting practices where payments are not recorded, where auto billing has gone awry, where billings have no relation to usage!

Without the support of our elected representatives, we constituents will continue to be held financial hostage to this corporate greed.  We are relying on you, our elected officials, to fight on our behalf in an effort to return gas and electric to a necessary utility as opposed to the pricey luxury it has evolved into.
