Keep Mr. Moon

Keep Mr. Moon
The Issue
Mr. Moon is one of the best teachers at Central High School, and removing him from the staff is an injustice to the students he's educated and who want him to continue to teach next year. He teaches history the way every student wishes their teacher would. He engages his students with amazing projects and activities that teach history in an interactive way. His empathetic style of interacting with his students makes his room feel inclusive. Without Mr. Moon, students who before had a history class that they were engaged in and interested in will have a harder time learning the subject. They will also learn more about personal accountability in Mr. Moon's class than any other class. He teaches that every action taken has a reaction that echoes through history. He earns every bit of recognition he gets, and honestly deserves more. The school will loose a significantly better teacher than they will gain, and without his teaching many people would be worse off.
