Prices of Petrol and Diesel is rising everyday to an unbearable extend of around 110Rs/L and still increasing.

There are both central and state taxes on petrol and diesel. 

For example the petrol price has touched Rs 99.84 in Kolkata. The central tax is Rs 32.90 (around 63% of total taxes on petrol in state) while the state tax is Rs 19.27. The base price of petrol in the city as on July 6 was only Rs 44.20 while that of diesel was Rs 45.16. 

This looting of common people should CHANGE where the govenments are in procurement of immense tax amounts. Why do these govenments need this much tax.

Being an income tax payer I'm paying tax at the moment am getting my pay cheque. Now using the rest of my hard earned money we are forced to pay taxes for every essential commodities being bought. And that too for fuel such an exorbitant tax!!!.

No political parties would initiate for such a CHANGE as they too earn from such anti people movement by governments !!

So I request everyone to sign this petition to roll back the fuel prices to 75Rs/L maximum and take measure like bring fuel under GST regime with proper measure to arrest such exhorbitanat raise in fuel prices everyday and save commom man from being looted by his own nation's/state's governments.
