We consider India a country of many religions and in all the religions there are a few things common. And one such thing is considering Gambling bad and I can assure it is so for the right reasons.

But before labeling it just as a sport consider the consequences of someone who has lost everything in such events. And the major culprit in such cases is the coercion or the probing, making that person go all out and losing all his senses for that moment of time, and with the help of digital power (Analytics, Behavior study, etc.) online platforms are more potent than any gambling house or casino. 

I have seen many people close to me lose all their money in such practices and not only their's but the borrowed money as well. For a moment, step in the shoe of a person who has loaned his friend's money in his urgent need, with all his saving and then getting to know he gambled with it and lost it all. Not only the finances of those two persons are affected but also the society around them.

Think and choose the kind of society you want, not only yourself but your future generations. God forbids, what someone is treating as a sport today, loses all the family wealth in their old age just because their grandson or son was also having some fun and drained all the money in the heat of the moment.

Kindly support this petition to urge the Central Government and all the state governments of India to ban Online Gambling Platforms, not on the basis of where the app/website is run from but on the basis of who is betting on that platform. 

Regulating Online Gambling will help a lot. Atleast a cap on the amount and age of the gambler should be there. And for those who are seeking fun and love gambling as a sport, try gambling something other than money and assets for enjoyment.
