** For the pictured straight at the dog park. Not the lower part, for the boaties & their load bearing trailers that cannot have a speed hump on a cambered road ** 

There is some fast & erratic driving that goes on at the car park that sit in front of the terrigal haven dog park, at higher level of the parking at the dog park aspect along the straight, as pictured. 

Locals will usually use this space on a daily basis, and know exactly what this is referring too! 

Coupled with the extenuating risk with the zero fencing around said dog park, it is well documented that dogs should remain in the park and under control, however it’s a little bit of a big expectation of a Pooch not to chase their ball, or their four legged friend out of the park and onto the adjacent car park, and worse case in front of a car that is going way too fast for the area and doing burn outs. 

Some of these drivers that seem to want to break the land speed record, rev their cars and do the odd burnout  in these two car parks, totally a hazard to children, pets and even the able bodied adults such as our selves that had to jump off the road at dusk on Christmas Eve having almost be clipped by a young fella in a late 90s ford falcon who is was fish tailing out of the bend. 

There are speed humps located around the loop of the oval, central coast council PLEASE place speed humps in the car parks in front of the dog park, as it’s only a matter of time until someone or something is struck by a car. upon sufficient numbers on here, it will be attached to a proposal to the council for review with local member Adam Crouch.
