The NSW Central Coast Council has recently introduced a Draft Policy to deal with the future impacts of Climate Change on the Central Coast.
There are increasing community concerns over the concepts and wording in the Draft Policy (of note is "Planned Retreat"), the lack of attached flood mapping, no direct contact and explanation with the residences and businesses that will be affected, and the rush to pass this Policy through a five week public display and submission process.

The submission process closes REAL SOON... Friday 15 March 2019.

We the undersigned want the Central Coast Council to slow the process down, and extend the cut-off date for final submissions by at least another three (3) months so the above concerns and concepts can be addressed by Council, and affected residents and businesses.
