As the 2020-2021 school year approaches, we are faced with decisions that we never had to make before.  An important decision for the Central Bucks School District will be to let fall sports and activities happen as planned.  Students and parents are counting on the Board to let families decide.  Here are some compelling reasons to "let them play":

1. Let families decide.  Parents and players can weigh the risks and determine what's best for them.  They can decide to play or decide to opt out.  Parents should be able to sign waivers, for example, just like they do for injury.  It's up to them.
2. There will be no classroom interactions this fall, which is a BIG advantage, making it safer for players and staff, especially for outdoor sports.

4. Our student-athletes and coaches have been working hard and following protocols (Health & Safety Plan) to prepare for the season and react to situations as prescribed.  We know that athletics, band, cheerleading, etc., ALL contribute to their growth.  They learn life-lessons on the field.
