Due to the global pandemic, and the classes being shifted to an online pattern, majority of the students feel that education this year has been somewhat ineffective, not due to the lack of teaching skills of the teachers, but due to the fact that such methods of teaching are incapable of capturing the students' attention to the fullest, due to their very nature.

The mental health of many students has also become a crisis. Students are experiencing more pressure than ever before, now that the curriculum is reduced, to score high marks. Among students appearing for board exams, cases of depression and anxiety are on the rise.

As a solution to the issue of ineffectiveness of the online classes, many schools are re-opening keeping Covid guidelines in mind. This seems as an apt solution, but one must keep in mind that the time of 'offline school' attended by students in this scenario is a maximum of 1-3 months compared to a full academic year which was given to students otherwise.

Yet another issue, which still stands despite the hugely appreciable efforts of the government get it's people vaccinated, is the fear of getting infected by the Covid virus. 

The solution, as we believe, would be to cancel the board examination altogether, and instead let the examinations be conducted by the associated schools internally, as being conducted for the rest of the classes, leaving the choice of examinations being online or offline to the schools.
