My name is Pat Ferguson or Nana Pat. I am a childminder in Flitwick and for many years I've been asking for a crossing outside Flitwick Lower school on Temple Way.

Temple Way is an extremely busy road, especially at school drop-off and pick-up times, and carries fast traffic throughout the day.  Despite running past a lower school, park and skate park there is no provision for pedestrian right of crossing along this stretch of road. Nor is there a posted 20 mph speed limit outside the school. Let's not wait for an accident before we take the necessary steps to improve road safety in our community! 

Please sign my petition to help convince Central Bedfordshire Council to review the road situation, install a pedestrian crossing and consider a 20 mph limit on Temple Way outside Flitwick Lower School.
