Help Save Nonna's in Woburn Sands

Nonna’s is at risk of having huge restrictions placed on our business, which could lead to CLOSURE.

The Central Bedfordshire Council has informed us that our current license does not allow us to serve alcoholic beverages on a Monday, Tuesday, or on our terraced areas.

We have reapplied for the license but the council has received seven objections (five from local residents, one from Noise Pollution, and one from Woburn Sands council), which means we go to a hearing on 30th August.

We are petitioning the Central Bedfordshire Council to override objections for Nonna’s with an application for a variation to the current premise license.

This would allow Nonna’s to open within the standard restaurant hours of 9.30am - 11.00pm (daily). The key aspect of the license is to permit Nonna’s to serve alcoholic beverages within these hours both indoor and outdoor (including current terraced areas).

We are NOT requesting a late license or to extend seating on any current areas.

We are a family run independent business, which has a great relationship with those in our local community. Nonna’s offers dining for families and fun, charitable events. To restrict these requests could be detrimental to our business, even resulting in closure.

By signing this petition you are supporting our application for a variation to Nonna’s premise license (as detailed above). All the Nonna’s family thanks you for your continued support in this matter.
