We are doing a happy dance! We are up to 10,108 petition signatures, which means our goal has been met! What does this mean? Early next week, the petition will be printed with signatures and comments. We will send this petition to the FDA to request a public hearing or meeting on breast implant illness, complications, and Breast Implant Associated Anaplastic Large Cell Lymphoma. There are no guarantees but we have faith that the power of harmed women combining efforts and speaking out is going to get their attention. They have, in the past, been open to discussing our issues with us and have shown an interest in increasing patient engagement. We really can't thank all of you enough for taking the time to share, bump posts, send emails, hassle your family and friends. It truly means so much. This was a collective effort among so many groups and patient advocates. It was awesome to be a part of it and to watch our community work together.
