Well...that pretty much went as expected. The CROA Board was too stubborn to view the issue of Lot D objectively and failed to listen to the homeowners of our community. For all those that spoke tonight, I commend you for standing tall and trying to work with our board who clearly do not want to work with us. So what is next steps...
Referendum
So what does that entail? Paper signatures. The document has been created and volunteers are currently being recruited. We will need to be out in full force shortly. If we want to stop this Lot D Project, we will need to get 8% of the homeowners to sign the referendum.
Please look out for more updates on either the Celebration Back Porch or private group https://www.facebook.com/groups/opposelotdproject
I leave you with the following, "there is no wrong turnings. Only paths we did not know we were meant to walk" from Guy Gavriel Kay. Tonight's board decision is a speed bump and we will continue to lean on each other to ensure our community is heard and our community thrives.
