Cedar Woods Development, DPAW , Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire Council, Minister for Environment WA: Immediately address the displacement of 150+ Kangaroos at Cedar Woods Development!
Cedar Woods Developers have cleared land for a new Development and have FAILED to manage 150+ displaced Kangaroos in Byford - who are currently fenced off/out, confused and have been sad victims of this Development and the failure of these responsible bodies to have an actionable plan to address the destruction of habitat for these animals and their relocation!
We demand that Council, DPAW and the Developer act NOW to save these Kangaroos!

Over 150+ Kangaroos have been fenced out/off from their feeding areas due to the destruction of their habitat at the Cedar Woods Development in Byford WA.
These Kangaroos are displaced and confused and this is a serious and imminent animal welfare disaster.
There has been NO ACTION from the Developer to address this issue with Council or with DPAW.
The community is growing increasingly concerned and the issue is now URGENT with these Kangaroos essentially cut off from feed and water!
I demand that you immediately address the displacement and fencing off of these Kangaroos in Byford - this is neglect of our Native Animals and their welfare is an urgent concern.
I expect an immediate response detailing what plans Council, DPAW and the Cedar Woods Developers plan to do to address this serious Animal Welfare issue.
